At the Hospital | (Monday, September 2) In the very early hours of the morning, Riley and Kenny arrive at the hospital for Riley's surgery. After getting checked into her room, her doctor introduces himself to them. Dr. Melendez goes over Riley's surgery plan, and then has her get changed so they can run some pre-op tests and do some scans. After several hours of tests and scans, Kenny has a few minutes with Riley before she's wheeled back to the operating room for her surgery.

Countess of Sussex * Stoke Mandeville Stadium | On November 16, Princess Gwen and the Earl of Sussex visited the National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville Hospital for its 80th anniversary and neighbouring Stoke Mandeville Stadium this week, the birthplace of the Paralympics. Princess Gwen, Patron of the Paralympics GB, and The Earl met staff and patients undergoing rehabilitation sessions in the Upper Limb Lab and visited Horatios Garden, which nurtures the well-being of people after spinal injuries. Princess Gwen was also announced as the new Patron of Wheel Power the national charity for wheelchair sports, taking over from The King.
