The Countess and Earl then attended the IOC and Elysee Dinner at the Louvre. The Countess and Earl will attend the opening ceremony of the 33rd edition of the Olympic Games on July 26. The Prince and Princess visited the centre, meeting patients and staff. The Duke of York is Patron of Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support. The charity provides a wide range of support to people living with cancer and promotes better cancer care.

Countess of Sussex * Reception at Winfield House | On June 12, Princess Gwen attended a reception to commemorate Yazidi survivors of conflict-related sexual violence, held at Winfield House in London. The event was held by the U.S. ambassador to the U.K. Jane Hartley. This year marks 10 years since the ISIS genocide against Yazidis in Sinjar. The Duchess met with Yazidi human rights activist Nadia Murad, founder of Nadia's Initiative and a Nobel Peace Prize winner.
