The Dark Helmet | This is the basic design of what I call “The Dark Helmet” in my Pokémon fics. It allows the user’s own psychic abilities to be nullified, and it allows for no psychic abilities to get into the user’s head. There is even a version that limits Fairy-Type energy and one that completely blocks it is in the works. The Helmets are primarily used in the Psychic Academy in Kanto (the one run by Gym Leader Sabrina), but the MC in my Faller Fic uses one because her Ralts/Kirlia/Future Gardevoir’s psychic stuff overwhelms her poor head and she passes out without it.
