Queen Lucille * Voluntary Service's Christmas Lunc | On December 11, 2024, Queen Lucille attended a "Festive Spread" Christmas lunch with volunteers, staff, and celebrity supporters at the Amadeus in Little Venice, London. The event marked the launch of the Royal Voluntary Service’s Festive Spread campaign, which aims to bring together people who may be spending the holiday season alone. As part of the campaign, RVS volunteers will host more than 70 Christmas lunches across the country. Queen Lucille, as Patron of the Royal Voluntary Service, attended the event to show her support and gratitude for the organization’s ongoing efforts.

The Duke and Duchess of York Welcomes Liz Hatton | On October 2, 2024, the Duke and Duchess of York welcomed Liz Hatton and her family to Windsor Castle. Liz Hatton, 16, is a budding photographer from Harrogate. She was diagnosed with desmoplastic small round cell tumor in January and is currently battling this rare and aggressive form of cancer. The Duke and Duchess posted pictures of the moment on their social media channels, along with the message: 'A pleasure to meet Liz at Windsor today. Duchess of York * Festival of Remembrance | Every year, the Royal British Legion’s Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall honors the service and sacrifices of the British and Commonwealth Armed Forces community. On November 9, 2024, George, Queen Lucille, the Duke and Duchess of York, the Countess and Earl of Sussex, and other members of the Royal family attended the Festival of Remembrance.

Duchess of York * Together at Christmas | On December 6, the Duchess of York hosted the annual 'Together at Christmas' carol service at Westminster Abbey. The Duke attended the service alongside his children, Princess Flora, and Prince Arlo, to support his wife, the Princess of Wales. Spearheaded by the Princess and supported by the Royal Foundation, the service honors the selfless efforts of individuals, families, and communities across the UK.
