McDonald Observatory was AWESOME!!! | We went as part of the trip we took to Midland, TX for the Annular Solar Eclipse on October 14, 2023 (it was only a few hours longer of a drive). We got to stay at the Astronomer’s Lodge because we did a Star Party. I even got to move the telescope dome during the tour! I’d seen the Milky Way/stars before, but NOT. LIKE. THIS!!! It was incredible! I got so many pics/vids of the stars! 10000000/10, would recommend!
