Countess of Sussex * Imjin Barracks | The Countess of Sussex, Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Logistic Corps, visited the Gurkha Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC) Support Battalion at Imjin Barracks in Innsworth, Gloucestershire. Princess Gwen serves as the Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Logistic Corps, the branch of the British Army that supports the activities of the UK military around the world. Imjin Barracks is a British Army installation situated near Innsworth in Gloucestershire, and it is home to the headquarters of NATO's Allied Rapid Reaction Corps.

Countess of Sussex * Homecoming Parade Picton | On October 4, 2024, the Countess of Sussex, in her role as the Colonel of the 5th Battalion, presided over a homecoming parade for the 5th Battalion of The Rifles in Bulford, following a six-month deployment in Estonia. During the event, the Countess inspected the Guard of Honour, delivered a speech, and chatted with members of the soldiers' families. After their deployment, 5 Rifles celebrated their return with a parade at Picton Barracks, attended by the Countess of Sussex and other distinguished guests.

Countess of Sussex * Bayeux Cemetary Statue | As President of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, Princess Gwen visited Bayeux Cemetary, which holds the graves of those who lost their lives on D-Day. As Colonel-in-Chief of the Regina Rifles, The Princess unveiled a statue to remember the sacrifices made by the regiment in 1944. The new memorial standards in Bretteville, which the soldiers of the Regina Rifles liberated 80 years ago. At Bayeux Cathedral where the bells were rung in celebration of the town’s liberation in 1944, Princess Gwen attended the annual Service of Commemoration.

Countess of Sussex * Strathcarron Hospice | On November 1, 2024, Princess Gwen, the Countess of Sussex, visited Strathcarron Hospice in Fankerton, Scotland, to speak with staff, volunteers, supporters, and patients. As part of her visit, the Princess was given a presentation by staff on the Hospice’s two ongoing projects in partnership with Glenochil Prison, focusing on frailty and bereavement.

Countess of Sussex * Hale Youth & Community Center | On September 25, the Countess of Sussex visited the Hale Youth and Community Centre in north Farnham, Surrey. TheCountess met staff, parents, and toddlers at the 'Stay and Play Toddler Group' and heard how they benefit from this service. The Hale Community and Youth Centre (Sandy Hill Community Bungalow) is a community resource that provides a range of services, activities, and meeting spaces for residents of all ages in its neighbourhood.

Countess of Sussex * Tanzania, First Day | Princess Gwen, the Countess of Sussex, is making a five-day visit to the United Republic of Tanzania, at the request of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. On September 16, the Duchess arrived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. On September 17, the Princess visited British High Commission staff in Dar es Salaam, during her five-day trip to Tanzania. Later, the Princess visited the Magomeni Health Center to hear about the local state of health services.

Countess of Sussex * Arrival in Malta | The Countess and Earl of Sussex are making a four-day visit to Malta. On October 7, 2024, the Countess and Earl were welcomed by the Prime Minister of Malta, Dr. Robert Abela, and his wife, Dr. Lydia Abela, at the Auberge de Castille in Valletta, on the first day of their visit to Malta to mark the 60th anniversary of Malta's independence and celebrate the country's shared heritage and continuing collaboration with the UK. The Countess and Earl of Sussex also attended a meeting with the President of the Republic of Malta, Myriam Spiteri Debono, and her husband Dr. Anthony Spiteri Debono, at the Grandmaster's Palace in St George's Square, Valletta.

Countess of Sussex * Malta Whitehall Reception | On the evening of the first day of their visit to Malta, the Countess and Earl of Sussex attended a Commonwealth reception at Whitehall Mansions, the Residence of the British High Commissioner in Ta' Xbiex, where they met local dignitaries, Commonwealth Points of Light Award Winners, and Young Leaders.

Countess of Sussex * Chad Event 2 | While in Chad's capital, N'Djamena, the Countess was received by the Prime Minister of Chad, Allamaye Halina. The Countess of Sussex also met with local and regional civil society organizations, UN agencies, and women-led groups working on women's empowerment and support for women in Chad.

Countess of Sussex * British Pavilion Opening | On July 25, 2024, Gwen, the Countess of Sussex and Kyle, the Earl of Sussex participated in the opening of the British pavilion at the GB House at the Pavillon D’Armenonville in Paris. The Countess and Earl then attended the IOC and Elysee Dinner at the Louvre. The Countess and Earl will attend the opening ceremony of the 33rd edition of the Olympic Games on July 26. GB is represented by 327 athletes across 20 different sports.
